I’m an 8th grader attending King Middle School, in Portland Maine. I strongly believe that Maine should take action using solar and wind energy toward a carbon-neutral future by 2040. There is only one planet we live on, earth has no extra change of garments. If we do not do anything now, it will have a cost to future generations. Our children will be in danger due to our actions.
