Rep. Bruce White, a Democrat from Waterville, plans on introducing a bill this session that will clarify current state law about unsecured loads on a vehicle. “Current statue prohibits operating a vehicle with an obstructed view and having an unsecured load. So, it's already there. But what we want to do with this bill is clarify the gray area,” Rep. White said. He is hoping to address previous concerns from the trucking industry, law enforcement and others with this bill.
