Kennebec Land Trust’s annual winter lecture series in March will is on the topic, “Maine’s State Parks and Public Lands: Conserving Nature, Managing People, and Embracing the Future.” This year’s lectures, are free and open to the public, and all at 6 p.m. Thursday at Winthrop High School auditorium.
The schedule is:
• March 16 – Recreational and Cultural Importance of Maine’s Parks and Public Lands, presented by Jocelyn Hubbell and Rex Turner.
• March 23 – Conservation of Wildlife and Biodiversity of Maine’s Parks and Public Lands, presented by Justin Schlawin &and Sarah Spencer.
• March 30 – Looking Forward: Land Acquisition Partners and Priorities, presented by William Patterson.
