In the coastal town of Penobscot, Maine, you will be greeted by a large group of 5 to 12 german shepherds wagging their tales waiting for you to pet them. You will soon embark on a hike. The doggies will be set loose and join you. Along the way, the host will show you how to communicate with the dogs. You will be traveling on a 1.5-mile trail through a lovely forest, crossing wooden bridges, and walking in a meadow. German shepherds of various ages will join along for the trip. Halfway through the hike, you can take a break and the owner will provide you with snacks and drinks. The hike will take from 50-75 minutes. (Caveat emptor)
