Editorial: Maine should stop spreading PFAS

The Maine Department of Environmental Protection has a tough road ahead in identifying land and groundwater contaminated with PFAS also known as “forever chemicals.” Inspectors have identified more than 700 licensed sites around the state. The Legislature should not wait any longer to stop spreading forever chemicals.
