Firefighters from four towns and the Maine Forest Service brought a large brush fire in Gorham under control on Monday. It drew firefighting crews from Gorham, Windham, Buxton and Standish. It was unclear how many acres burned. The fire was brought under control around 4:30 p.m. No homes were damaged by the fire.
