To immerse myself in a snowy landscape, I took a walk on the trails of Woodlawn, a 180-acre historic estate in Ellsworth. The main building, which functions as a museum, was built in the 1820s as a home for the family of Colonel John Black. Now it’s on the National Register of Historic Places. During all seasons, Woodlawn is a wonderful place for people to enjoy nature and local history.
