Editorial: Congress gets its last, best chance at meaningful climate action

The world is racing toward the edge of a cliff, and it is looking to the United States for guidance on how to act. Will enough members of Congress seize this last, best chance at enacting meaningful climate policies and take the world off its path to a bleak future? Doing nothing now is equivalent to voting for more deadly heat waves, wildfires and flash floods. It is voting for catastrophe.
