Letter: Ads about corridor’s forest impact untrue

SUN JOURNAL • April 10, 2021

The ads against the Clean Power Corridor imply that the 53-mile power line from West Forks to the Canadian border would pass through special Maine forests that would be compromised by the project. In fact, most of this land has been working forest for generations. There may be legitimate reasons to disagree on the project, but these ads that say that Maine forests will never be the same are just not true. ~ David Griswold, Auburn, Maine Licensed Forester #370
