The Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry’s Maine Forest Service reminds everyone involved in storm cleanup to be safe and also help keep Maine’s forests healthy. Project Canopy, a program of the MFS, offers these tips and helpful guidance to property owners faced with questions about what to do with downed trees, limbs and branches.
