According to Dylan Larose, owner of Dag’s Bait & Tackle in Auburn, idleness because of the COVID-19 outbreak has not sparked an uptick in business. Despite reassurances from Gov. Janet Mills that spending time in nature, as long as it was done as a solitary exercise and 6 feet apart from anyone else, is permissible — anglers are still staying home.
