The People's Choice Award presented by the Natural Resources Council of Maine recognizes a volunteer who goes above and beyond to protect Maine’s air, land, water, or wildlife. It could be someone helping to protect a special area or make their school “greener.” Or someone taking a stand against polluters, or pushing for legislation safeguarding Maine's environment. We welcome previous nominees and finalists who did not win in prior years.
